I saw this amazing sweater on Nastygal Facebook page, I'm pretty sure that I wasn't the only one fall in love with the sweater. I knew immediately that I would make a similar one and somthing I would definitely wear. This DIY is simple and quick, perfect to give your sweater extra sex appeal. As you can see I did skipped the sleeves I don't like it that way, but you can do the sleeves as well, if you like it that way
Sweater
Scissors
Clear plastic
Sewing machine/Needle thread
Pins (optional)
Let's begin!
Cut out a 6 cm wide stroke. Make it a bit longer than the sweater.
Fold the sweater in half
Cut the sweater in half
Attach the plastic on the edge of the sweater leave 1 cm space for the seam (pin if needed). Make sure that you attach the stroke on the goodside and during stitching the stroke has to be on the bottom. Leave some space of the stroke on the neckline and bottom to reshape it later.
This is optional. Stitch a decorative line of 5 mm wide
Reshape the neckline and bottom
Cut off the corners. So you don't see the the corners while wearing.
You're done
